We do not treat repetition as verification. A claim appearing across multiple websites or articles does not necessarily make it independently established.

Where our reporting may materially affect a person or organisation, we seek a meaningful opportunity for response before publication.

Some BLUNT.news investigations remain open after publication.

If significant new evidence, a substantive response or a correction becomes available, we may add it to the story with a visible update.

Our aim is to make clear what was known, what changed and when.

Important reporting may include source documents, screenshots, datasets, timelines and other evidence so readers can understand how conclusions were reached.

Where evidence has limitations — such as self-selecting review platforms, incomplete datasets or third-party estimates — we aim to state those limitations clearly.

We distinguish original source material from BLUNT’s analysis and do not intentionally present reconstruction or inference as primary evidence.

If we get something materially wrong, we want to correct it clearly.
